Unlicensed intentional radiators are "certified" under FCC Rules Part 15 & Part 2, and neither Class A or Class B applies to the wireless device itself. Limits are different for the various types of intentional radiator, and the appropriate rule sections must be applied. If there is a digital device associated with the wireless device, then it is subject to Class A or B as appropriate. Does it mean all intentional radiators must be Class B digital devices? A device for which the fundamental emissions are within the limits as per section 15.225a but in the frequency range 30 to 1000 MHz the spurious emissions are beyond Class B but below Class A. Can this be classified as a Class A product and sold in the market?
