Bill, is correct (as usual) but I would like to bring your attention to
15.225(d) which states that the spurious emissions (outside of the
modulation mask) from the intentional radiator portion of the equipment are
covered under 15.209. The emission limits in 15.209 are the same as the
Class B emissions limits for unintentional radiators which is where the
"Class B" perception comes from.

Unlicensed intentional radiators are "certified" under FCC Rules Part 15
& Part 2, and neither Class A or Class B applies to the wireless device
itself.  Limits are different for the various types of intentional
radiator, and the appropriate rule sections must be applied. If there is
a digital device associated with the wireless device, then it is subject
to Class A or B as appropriate.  If you have not done an FCC
certification before, I strongly suggest that you get assistance.

Dear Experts,
      Emission limits for Class A digital products are not given for
intentional radiators in FCC Part 15 sub part C. Does it mean all
intentional radiators must be Class B digital devices?
      A device for which the fundamental emissions are within the limits
as per section 15.225a but in the frequency range 30 to 1000 MHz the
spurious emissions are beyond Class B but below Class A. Can this be
classified as a Class A product and sold in the market?
