Hi, IEC 62441 is published in 2006, its name is 'Accidentally caused candle flame ignition for audio/video, communication and information technology equipment'. UL is discussing wheather add this standard in UL60950, discussion will be closed in 16,Nov. You can go to UL CSDS website to join this discussion. I bought this standard just now, so I can't give you comparation between 62441 and UL94 at this time.

I’m not familiar with the IEC 62441 standard. Could somebody provide me a quick summary of the test/ requirements? Are the requirements of IEC 62441 are substantially different >from UL 94/ the IEC 60695 series? John P.
