Well, have you got an ancient monitor that will accept RGB with 
synch-on-green? If not, you may be able to use a monitor with RGB + 
Synch, by connecting Green and Synch together. You probably can't use a 
monitor with separate horizontal and vertical synch inputs.

You may need to look at the output signals with a scope, to see if they 
are positive-going or negative-going.
