EN55024:1998 + A1 (and even A2) is an applicable standard for EMC & RTTE Directive. So there is no reason why your customer cannot ask to make up a report with this amendment listed even if these are not applicable to this USB printer. A Customer whose product is a simple USB Printer is requesting that I add this amendment in the test report. I did not since it was not applicable and most importantly – not tested. Is my understanding correct?
