Well, what it SHOULD be is that the vertical component of the magnetic field has an r.m.s. value of 400 mA/m, measured with a time-constant of 125 ms, with a maximum amplitude input signal to the phone, at the position where the telecoil of a behind-the-ear hearing aid would be when the phone is in use. This is in accordance with IEC 60118-4 Second Edition. I believe that one 'specification' requires a field strength of no more than 100 mA/m and does not specify the direction or the position at which the field strength is measured. -- OOO - Own Opinions Only.
