We are pleased to officially announce the Huntsville IEEE EMC 2008 Event on
Tuesday, April 29th, 2008. Our featured speaker is the world-renowned EMC
author and engineer Dr. Bruce Archambeault.

Huntsville IEEE EMC 2008 is a one day electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
tutorial and exhibition of EMC products and services hosted by the Huntsville
Chapter of the IEEE EMC Society. Dr. Bruce Archambeault will be presenting the
technical program "PCB Design Techniques For Real-World EMI Control" in a
large classroom setting. Several vendors of EMC products and services will
have exhibits in an adjoining room. Along with the EMC technical session and
exhibition the program includes breakfast, lunch, break refreshments, an
evening reception with heavy appetizers and door prizes. You'll have a full
day of EMC education, food and fun at a very affordable price!

Included is a link to the event brochure and registration form in pdf format.
Please pass it along to any co-workers and colleagues who would benefit from
attendance. We have also attached an event flyer that you can hang up at work
on any community bulletin boards.

Dr. Archambeault is one of the best known EMC authors and engineers in the
world. He is the author of several books and even more papers in his primary
research area of EMC. He is the author of the text "PCB Design For Real-World
EMI Control" which is a great and practical guide to PCB design. You have the
opportunity to purchase this book at a significant discount (see the
registration form for details) and have Dr. Archambeault sign your copy at the
evening reception. This book is not required for the technical program. You
will receive a bound copy of Dr. Archambeault's presentation with your
registration.

Even if you've heard Dr. Archambeault speak before, the questions from the
audience will generate a lively discussion on how to apply EMI control
techniques to a variety of products. This means there will be something for
everyone to learn, even seasoned EMC veterans. I've heard Dr. Archambeault
speak many times at the International IEEE EMC Symposium over the last twelve
years and he is a very down-to-earth and practical speaker.

Two years ago, this event in Huntsville sold out extremely fast and Dr.
Archambeault is a big attendance draw. Please get your registration in early
to reserve your spot at this premier EMC event.
