Lothar, No, I am not aware of any marking requirement like that for the US. The US has not, as a whole, implemented RoHS or lead free regulations. Several states are, or have considered legislation to restrict hazardous substances. California has the most restrictive laws that I am aware of, California Proposition 65, The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.
