Why does professional video equipment not distiguish between residential and industrial use? They do list the environments seperately but then when you go to table 2 where the limits are specified residential E1, commercial and light industrial E2, and Urban outdoor all have the same limits 30 – 37 dBuV at 10 meters. In the Generic standard 55022 this would be the class B limits for residential use.
If there is some concern over the noise coming out I would then suspect that the immunity requirements would also be made more stringent along with the more stringent emissions limits, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Heavy sigh – the product easily meets a 55022 class A limit, but kisses the class B limit and I have work to do.
