My employer wants to ship some (less than ten) proprietary testers to one of our locations in Italy. These will never be available on the open market and would be used on at the site they’re being shipped to. I thought I had read somewhere that such items were exempt from EMC testing, but can’t find anything to confirm that suspicion. I think this has been discussed previously, but searching the archives didn’t yield anything relevant and Google was not my friend with the various combinations of terms that I tried.
