Hello,
The EU has closed a MRA with Australia (decision 98/508/EC) in 1998. The sectoral annexes inlcudes machine safety requirments. I found also the standard AS 4024.1-2006 Series:2006-06 which includes 26 ISO/IEC/EN standards with 664 pages. So far so good. Does anybody know if Australia requires a specific machine certification? Or is a “EC declaration of conformity” with respect to the machinery directive 2006/42/EC acceptable for the authorities? Place of operation: 2333 Muswellbrook, New South Wales, Australia Has Australia specific safety requirements regarding the electrical equipment (control panels, electrical cables, colours, ect.)? Thanks for your support Kind regards Dipl.-Ing.
