Doug,

The fast answer is that HB40 is for samples of 3mm, HB75 for samples thinner
than 3mm. Both are HB.

Subject: Plastic flamibility rating

What is the difference between 94HB, HB40 and HB75? Yes I know the 94HB
rating is based on a flame test over a glowing wire test.

Is there any correlation between the 2 rating systems? Is HB40 considered
equivalent to 94HB?

Thanks,

Doug Kramer
