Found in IEC60695-11-10. The suffix can be considered a 'clarification' of
HB. Specifies the burning rate (mm per min) over a set length of material.

'Correlation' is based on specific material dimensions, so not necessarily
equivalent.

Requirements for HB40 and HB75 only if external.

What is the difference between 94HB, HB40 and HB75? Yes I know the 94HB
rating is based on a flame test over a glowing wire test.
Is there any correlation between the 2 rating systems? Is HB40 considered
equivalent to 94HB?

Thanks,

Doug Kramer
