Gary, Don’t fix it IF AND ONLY IF you are absolutely sure it’s the only problem. It seems highly unlikely this will occur in the field – get it to market & make some money. But, if there are other weaknesses and vulnerabilities then you may end up a warranty and image nightmare. I wouldn't bring the issue to people’s attention by warning about it in the manual. It would just give people the sense that the product of poor quality, compromised in design and second rate, very negative impressions for the product and your brand image. IF you sense there is a risk that people will stick their fingers into the hole, warn them not to on the basis that objects may damage the ‘highly sensitive microphone’. Just my opinion, Tony
