Hi all, Echostar Communications has an immediate opening for a Senior Compliance Engineer. Description: Provide EMC and Safety National and International Standards support.. Provide advanced circuit & system level EMC and Safety engineering, test, and design support to the hardware design group and manufacturing for EchoStar products. Responsibilities • Support includes design reviews and requirements investigation • The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of compliance to legislative and or market driven requirements for all EchoS tar products ensuring they meet all applicable mational and international requirements • Activities will include, but are not be limited to, teaming with hardware design engineers to develop innovative hardware design solutions, teaming with other EchoStar Design Engineers and groups to broaden the compliance skill base within the organization, and to support debug, analysis, design and verification testing • The candidate will be also responsible for the manitainance of the internal process and procedures. Requirements • BSEE minimum • Must have detailed knowledge and experience with national and international regulations, procedures and processes • Experience with consumer electronics compliance PLUS • Experience with satellite receiver products a PLUS • Experience with test equipment a PLUS • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills • Must be detailed oriented • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills • Must be skilled at multi-tasking.
