Ian,
The diamond PSE with the name of the distributor is correct. You may find that having the distributor name on the product causes some issues if sent to other Asian countries. We have found that those distributors didn’t like it. What I have seen as one solution is to have the diamond PSE and leave a space for the distributor name. In Japan, your distributor applies their name before shipment. Dear colleagues; We are shipping a “wall wart” style psu bought in from a separate supplier with one of our own products. Our distributor in Japan requires the psu to be PSE marked. The supplier of the psu has modified the psu rating label with the PSE diamond and also put on the name of our distributor in Japan. Is this correct? Are we required to name the Japanese distributor of our product on the psu? If we have more than one distributor in Japan, do we have to put both names on the label or have separate labels. I look forward to you advice. Thanks; Ian McBurney.
