These 'rabbit hutches' have been used for years. Use mesh with holes less that about 1 cm diameter and solder all joints between panels. You need ingenuity to construct a door that maintains the screening. Think 'sliding door'. If you use 2 layers of mesh, one on the outside of the frame and one on the inside, the screening can be quite effective. Another possibility is a disused cold room, for rather larger EUTs. -- This is my travelling signature, adding no superfluous mass.
