But don't you buy in the power supply/supplies? SMPS with active 
power-factor correction are freely available and the cost uplift is 
small. Such products are preferred on efficiency grounds, quite apart 
>from EMC issues, and their harmonic emissions are lower than the limits, 
mostly much lower.
