Juniper is growing and we are hiring.

In my group, we have an immediate need for a Homologation Engineer. This is a 
6-9 month contract with a high probability to permanent conversion for the 
right candidate.


Homologation Engineer




Obtain telecom type approval (Homologation) for Juniper Networks products. 
Perform pre-testing as required and support testing at accredited laboratories. 
Interact with worldwide Telecom regulatory agencies to complete the approval 
process. Work closely with cross-functional areas such as EMC and Safety 
Engineering to ensure that the products are designed and tested to meet 
Homologation requirements worldwide. Manage and track Homologation schedules to 
support global sales efforts. Monitor and communicate changes in standards and 
processes to cross-functional teams. Proactively work to improve the 
homologation process.  




The Homologation Engineer is expected to be an independent worker and be able 
to communicate effectively (written and verbal) both internally and externally 
to Juniper. 




Experience:




5+ years of experience in managing worldwide regulatory agencies to obtain type 
approvals for telecom/networking products. Familiarity with European directives 
and harmonized standards such as CTRs and National specific NTRs. Thorough 
understanding of telecom interfaces, test equipment and test procedures. Some 
travel may be required (<10%).




Expertise in other compliance disciplines is a definite asset – Safety, EMC, 
Wireless, RoHS, NEBS, ...
