According to the European Union Official Journal published on 19 March 2010, the EN61000-3-3:2008 Flicker test standard becomes mandatory in Europe starting 1 September 2011.
I looked at the standard, and there are no listings of the changes incorporated in the standard, and it has no change bars to point me to where in the standard to look for the changes. Does anyone have a listing or analysis of what changed between EN61000-3-3:2008 and the earlier EN61000-3-3:1995+A1:2001+A2:2005? Are there substantive changes that would require obtaining new test equipment, or are the changes merely editorial in nature?
