As you know, the only tricky part/test is Conducted Emission on AC port. Regardless of attenuation techniques one might employ, if data Tx is on, you will fail EN55022 test om AC port. Underlying issue is what your AC port becomes Telecom port at this instance. There were numerous attempts by CISPR to provide an adequate test methodology to address this issue, but all of them are either failed, delayed and yet to be published. Original idea was to measure CE on AC port against power port limits with Tx is OFF and against Telecom port limits with Tx is ON. Another one was to introduce new limits with new setup, using T-ISN. This setup could be found in CISPR/I/257CD document. Again, this document is just one of Committee Drafts, which was either shelved already or will not see the daylight. The best path to proof your compliance and to satisfy EMC Directive will be: 1. Test to all currently harmonized standards for ITE product 2. Apply your own engineering judgement as to why you believe using one or another test methods is appropriate to your product and write this justification in TCF 3. Try to get NB opinion. This could be as difficult as bridging between HAM enthusiasts and PLC vendors. Very few NB's wants to touch this subject, but you can shop for some.
