John,

The question related to a cross border EU/non-EU concept.

I suspect Mel is referring to part or all of the equipment that will be
installed and wants to know what documentation is required.

My answer to Mel is that it will depend on the destination country and
the type of installation.

My knowledge of world EMC requirements is vague - usually researched
when I need to and forgotten immediately afterwards!

If the country in question has EMC legislation / certification
requirements, then look to those.
It may also be appropriate to look to the Radio or Spectrum
Administration of that country if radio transmitters are involved or if
there is no EMC requirement (expressed as such). Even if there is no EMC
legislation in the destination country, there might be anti interference
requirements to protect radio communications contained within the
national legislation.

I hope that this helps

Regards
Tim

It isn't an 'installation' until it's physically installed. So I don't
understand the question.

I should be disillusioned, but it's not worth the effort.
