Dear Group

I have a query regarding buried transmitter cables operating at 10 kHz. These
systems are used with automatic lawnmowers and dog fences.

The system has a fundamental frequency at 10 kHz but has significant harmonics
up to 1 MHz.

I have looked at the FCC regs and do not see any specific requirements other
than the general requirements of part 15.209.

ANSI 63.4 details loop and rod antennas but I seem to remember that H field
measurements only are acceptable.

Also, how much cable should one attach to the transmitter during testing?
These devices can cover acres.

Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Best regards

John McAuley
