There aren't so many of us in the UK, with the result that one issue 
tends to gravitate to one person, not a technical community. One person 
does tend to have to shout very loud in order to be heard. Been there, 
done that (and received the criticisms for doing so).

Keith HAS made an in-depth study of the very difficult subject of the 
interface between EMI and functional safety. Note, EMI not EMC - 
conventional EMC thinking is worse than useless in functional safety, 
because it gives a false sense of security.
