All,

If a manufacture that assembles personal computers uses COMPONENTS ie
power supplies and mother boards that have
FCC markings on them, is it still necessary to submit a completed PC
sample to an independent lab for FCC
declaration ? ( I WOULD THINK THAT SINCE THIS PC IS NOT BEING MANUF.
FOR RESIDENTIAL USE A DECLARATION IS NOT NECESSARY.

**** This computer is NOT INTENDED FOR RESIDENTIAL USE

My understanding is that there maybe a "special guidelines " for
computer manufacturers regarding
FCC Compliance.

NO TESTING AT ALL IS NEEDED IF THE COMPONENTS INSIDE HAVE THE FCC MARK
ON THEM?????

OR IS IT THAT ...A computer must be tested just " one time" in the
chassis that these components ( WITH FCC MARKINGS) will go into and
AFTER WARD COMPONENTS maybe swapped out OF THAT SAME CHASSIS without
ADDITIONAL testing ?????

Only if you abbreviate it. Then it's C-RoHS, or 'crose'. ('crows'?)
