Christine,

If you do not have a country rep, you can employ an registered agent to hold
your technical file.

UL/TUV safety not required for Australia but you must have a safety test
report no matter if the product is perscibed or not. Perscrive products must
obtain an electric approval in Australia

For C-Tick (emc), an emc test report to meet Austrlaia/NZ requirements is all
it takes. Your legal rep or agent must hold trhe TCF and takes responsibility

Best Regards

Dear List Members,

Do I need to have an in-country Rep to deploy ITE equipment into Australia?

Is UL/ TUV product safety required? Our vendor has only provided us with a
C-Tick EMC certificate and test report.

Regards,

Christine Rodham
