Maybe I've been scanning postings too quickly. If this has already been covered I will try to scan the archive for the postings, but I am wondering about concern with the proposed amendments of RoHS II (early November from the Parliament Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, rapporteur Jill Evans) which would create a new category, category 11 "11. Other electrical and electronic equipment not covered by any of the categories above" and which also removes the "Large-scale Stationary Industrial Tool" exemption - all within amendment 67.

I've seen postings on this in EDN and Electronics Weekly, but no outrage. Has anyone heard of groups trying organize opposition to these proposed amendments?
