Mark, HAR does not have to be marked on the cord. Here are the various HAR cord types and the standards http://www.eepca.org/products_har.shtml If you do get a third party EU certification for your equipment, just like any other component which needs to be approved, the certification body may require the power cord to be certificated by an EU certification body such as IMQ, VDE, etc. Best Regards, Peter Merguerian
