I'd appreciate some wisdom and advice!
How rigorously should Notified Bodies (R&TTED & EMCD) require full use of Harmonised Standards? Do they have scope to give positive opinions on the basis of alternative evidence and technical justifications rather than testing to Harmonised Standards even where these harmonised standards exist? How much consistency is there between NB’s, are some more ‘relaxed’ than others? I look forward to your experiences and opinions.
