Hi, We have a 1-m extension cord for that purpose. The extension cord is in this case considered as a part of the EUT.

CISPR 22 now requires that direct plug-in power supply unit to be placed on the tabletop (clause 8.3.1 c)). To met these requirements for conducted disturbance measurements, extension cord would be required between the AMN and the power supply unit. However, such extension cord would ruin the AMN's carefully defined and validated impedance - the impedance seen from the power supply unit might no longer met the requirements of CISPR 16-1-2. There are pros and cons, and I personally think it would rather better to plug such direct plug-in power supply unit to AMN rather than producing another problems by use of extension cord, but maybe other people may have different opinions. Can anyone tell me how do you, or should we, deal with such situation?
