Hi Ian,

I've had two surge generators made by another popular company fail 
recently.  However, I always assume the decoupling network is . . . 
decoupling adequately, and never used an external EMI filter.

Does your surge generator have separate inputs for basic generator 
operation and EUT voltage?  If so, which input is the filter on?
