Secure compliance approvals per individual country requirements, worldwide,
for HID Global products.  Work with Product Management relative to schedules
for needed completion dates of compliance approvals to be timed to coincide
with product introductions into the marketplace.  Also required is EMC
engineering to mitigate noncompliance issues.  Good communications skills are
required with all levels within HID Global, outside laboratories, and
approving agencies.
***** Radio transmitter & digital devices compliance engineering.
***** Worldwide transmitter Type Approvals. 
***** Test laboratories and approving agencies negotiations, agreements,
costs, and schedules both technical and administrative.  
***** GTEM cell prescan data correlation with OATS data for transmitters.
Education and/or Experience             
***** BSEE or higher with RF Engineering emphasis, or equivalent
***** 10+ years of experience
***** NARTE Telecommunications Engineer, a plus
Knowledge
***** PCB design RFI mitigation 

                        o     Component selection & placement
                        o     Trace layout
                        o     Power & ground planes

        ***** LF & HF transmitters
        ***** Inductive H Field emitters
        ***** Modular transmitter certification
        ***** FCC Part 15C Intentional Radiators
        ***** Canada radio certification

        ***** R&TTE Directive for SRD CE Marking 

                        o     EN 300 330, EN 301 489-1,3, EN 50130-4

        ***** RFID
        ***** Asian radio transmitter and ITE approvals
        ***** Australia & New Zealand   

                        o     AS/NZS 4268

        ***** H Field measurements and calculations
        ***** Electromagnetics
        ***** OEM EMC mitigation assistance
