Wireless stuff in Mexico is controlled by COFETEL which is basically the
Mexican FCC.

Not sure about your product but for our wireless remotes COFETEL will accept
our EMC test reports

The lead-time is 45 days for certification after the submittal is made at
which time you will receive a registration number which must be placed on your
product label.

There is more to it than that but I believe those are the basics.........

Subject: Wireless certification for Mexico

We have wireless products that are approved for sale in Europe, US and Canada.
I need to know what is required to send 802.11 a/b/g wireless products into
Mexico.
What Mexican agency handles this?
Will they accept Test reports written by US/European approved test labs?

Any guidance is appreciated.

Thanks
