Niels,

The specific part of IEC 61010 was not given so only a general answer can be
given. So, you will want to visit the CB Bulletin online below to
research/view the national differences for the particular standard associated
with that product for safety (from your email below, it appears that you’ve
done that already).

Also, you might want to view the following document for a very nebulous CB EMC
certificate requirement for Israel. But, this is something different from the
CB safety certificate program.

Let me know off line if I can be of further assistance.

IHTH.

Best regards,

Ron Pickard

Subject: EMC requirements in Israel

Dear list members,

One of our costumers is going to have his product tested according to IEC
61010 with all applicable national differences and getting CB certificate.

The test lab doing the CB certification says that for Israel one of the
national differences is that the EMC test has to be performed by a certain
test lab (in fact the same as doing the CB).

I have looked at the CB information on the IECEE and the Standards Institute
of Israel websites and my impression is that there is no such requirement.

Do you know of Israeli national differences for IEC 61010?

Kind regards,

Niels Hougaard
