The info I have gotten from UL is that they are totally UNrelated. I think I remember that UL 2043 is commonly called the Steiner tunnel test, and it is a bulk materials test, down something like a 24 foot chamber. UL 94 is a small sample test. It has generally been difficult for us to find materials that we have any confidence of meeting UL 2043.
