Rich and All, We already have CB on components such as component ITE power supplies. Since CB does not involve factory audits, the end product certification body requires the component be subjected to it's follow-up audits. So yes we need components covered under CB but better yet is we can harmonize the factory audits so they do not get inspected again and again.
