Hi Brian:

> - CoC from plastic component supplier that is not recognized molder.

I simply did not accept a non-recognized molder. If we
want to use a non-recognized molder, I accept parts
provided that the molder can provide documents showing
he is in process of becoming a recognized molder. I
demand a copy of all correspondence between the molder
and UL. And, he labels the parts as required by the UL
recognition process (except, of course, for the UL
manufacturer's code until he completes the recognition).

All my part drawings include notes that the material
must be UL-recognized and the molder must be UL-recognized.
The notes also specify the material flame-rating.

I, too, have done this. Follow the UL process, or don't
buy from that supplier. Specify in notes to the
drawings.

> - document audits from suppliers having no agency recognition.

I don't accept non-recognized suppliers. If they want
my business, then they must be recognized.

> - labeling requirements for re-packaged chemicals.

If required by UL or equivalent. Again, specified in
the drawing notes.

> - EMC re-test for some changes of PCB layout.

Yes, of course.

In most cases, values are not critical and should not
be a part of a CB report. Study the CB report and get
the values taken out unless the cert house can prove
that the value is critical to safety. If the value
is critical to safety, then the CB report must be
updated.

Best regards,
Rich
