This is what I was thinking of (from 60950):
CL 2.6.3.5 ... – for an earthing braid, the insulation shall be either green-and-yellow or transparent; ... and from Annex NAA (obviously not applicable worldwide): Bare, covered or insulated earthing conductors are acceptable. A covered or insulated earthing conductor shall have a continuous outer finish that is either green, or green with one or more yellow stripes.
