Dear Members, Can an IEC 60950-1 power adapter be used with an IEC 60065 device? Two of my collleagues told me yes. However, they couldn't find any regulatory document to support the comment.
We have an IEC 60065 device under CB evaluation. The power adapter's CB certificate is under IEC 60950-1, not IEC 60065. The lab requests an IEC 60065 CB certificate for the power adapter (OEM). Thank you very much and look forward to hearing from you.
