At our place recently, R&D was shut down waiting for me to approve a high voltage warning sign they wanted to post near a workstation what has accessible high voltage while it was under development. What do I know of warning signs? I told them to contact the plant safety person but they wanted me to give the approval because I'm the compliance guy. No way I'm approving any sign.
