Hi Sudhakar, Yes, but how would you plan to keep that impact hammer in calibration. Note that the 50mm steel ball essentially maintains its calibration unless it is damaged.

Impact test using impact hammer delivers x amount of Joules energy upon impact similar to the dropping of steel ball of certain size from certain height.
