Some text has been taken out of IEC 62301 because it deals with a
subject that is dealt with somewhat differently in a European Commission
document. Although the difference is small (and probably has little
effect in practice), the EN can't include that text.
To be precise, it's Annex A (informative) that is not in the EN:
Guidance on modes and functions for selected product types
