Just got word of a proposed new EU market surveillance regulation amending everything CE (including existing new legislative framework legislation?).
https://tsapps.nist.gov/notifyus/docs/wto_country/EU/full_text/pdf/EU99(english).pdf It has some pretty big boots, including requiring economic operators to correct non-compliances regardless of risk, lots of scope carve-outs to make things interesting, and, thank goodness [sarcasm], they are defining all the common terms again. I wonder...Is there steam in this engine, or is it just something impressive to look at?
