Isn't that self-fulfilling? If the BB gives you *written* authority to
sign, that IS authority to 'bind the company'. You could ask for those
words to be included:
"BC has authority to sign DoCs, thereby binding the company to the
extent defined in the legislation to which the DoC refers."
