But they apply to headphones intended for use with portable music
players, not all headphones. In any case, the OP has active headphones,
so the standard can't be applied to them.
Also be aware that there are draft standards for EN50332-1 and -2 which
are out for vote by the National Committees and are expected to be
published soon.
They are welcome, in that they at least attempt to correct the extremely
poor editorial quality of the previous editions.
