Have no answer, but have questions because I am an EMC amateur, and thought
that this could be done at any OATS or 10m chamber.

Thought that link budget was done using parameters of free space loss and rx
sensitivity and tx power. For this characterization, why is a speacil
chamber required? Would this also done using other than line of site and
changes in enviroment, antenna alignment, etc? Is this the same thing as
'fade margin'?

Subject: Chambers for link budget testing

Hello all,

I am looking for a chamber that would be suitable for testing
link budgets (i.e. from one system to another) preferably
here in Colorado.

Does anyone know of such a chamber?
