Panel of experts: In the preface of ICES-003 issue 5 it makes reference to existing model. How is model defined?
* New product: current is SWB-11, new product is SWB-12 = Design changes to product * New production run of product: SWB-11 production lot ABC, SWB-11 production lot 123 = No Design changes to product A transition period ending August, 31, 2013, is provided, within which compliance with ICES-003, Issue 5, or ICES-003, Issue 4, will be accepted. After this date, only compliance with ICES-003, Issue 5, will be accepted. The requirements in ICES-003 Issue 5 apply to new models. Existing models in compliance with a previous issue of ICES-003 shall remain compliant under the requirements of that previous issue or may adopt the requirements in Issue 5. TI calculators often go 3-7 years between design changes. Does anyone have experience with using the electronic labeling option available in the regulation? I appreciate any observations W.
