Hello Richard, Yes the unit is supplied by external power supply source with SELV, LPS output.
The complete unit will be NRTL certified. My question is whether we need to consider complete monitor (it is for building-in, not consumer monitor) as critical component or I can leave it out of list of critical components)? In case we need to put it in list of critical components, can I describe it by internal parts/components (e.g. connector, panel, etc)? Manufacturer of final unit is buying the monitor and cannot apply for NRTL approval without cooperation of monitor manufacturer. Why do you find approval of the panel useless? If it runs on low voltage, it need not be certified by an NRTL. But, I would get it certified anyway as it is easy, not time consuming, and cheap. And, it avoids any problems. The UL-recognized LED panel is of no value unless you certify the whole display.
