We have three cats (in addition to three dogs) in the house and contribute to “Forgotten Felines” and other such charities. Two of the three cats have the run of the EMC Compliance office and regularly commit mayhem and destruction, up to and including sending unfinished emails by stomping the keyboard.
I thought Mr. McInturff’s comments were hilarious, but even if I didn’t, I wouldn’t be calling for an apology. Some people like cats, more don’t. There is no right to not be offended. Get over it. So I might owe one and all an apology. My sense of humor doesn’t always match that of my colleges. So if in appropriate or offensive to anyone. Please accept my sincere apology. A safety briefing won't help if a 400 lb EUT slips off the turntable on to your foot. I think emergency stops are not only reasonable but would be required by law in some jurisdictions, and I don't see any EMC issues. Flashing lights are another matter; EMC issues exist and implementation is not as easy as for emergency stops. Can you show that the applicable human exposure limits cannot anywhere be exceeded with the max amplifier and antenna? -- OOO - Own Opinions Only. With best wishes.
