Do OSHA requirements also apply to the US Government itself as an employer? - i.e. do they require equipment to be "acceptable" as per 29CFR1910.399? The reason I ask, is that equipment solely for use by US Government is exempt from FCC rules, I was just wondering whether there was a similar exemption for safety. I'm guessing not, but wanted to check. Or, re-phrasing the question "if you were planning on selling a mains powered CE marked product to the US government (and not other organisations within USA), should you plan on getting it NRTL listed first?"
